Shipping policy
The short version
Free shipping on every order. Most orders arrive in 2-4 business days in the US, 4-7 in Canada. Yes, even on a $22 mug.
How shipping works
We ship from our fulfillment center in San Diego, California. Orders placed before 1pm PT Monday through Friday usually go out the same day. Orders placed after 1pm PT, on weekends, or on US holidays go out the next business day.
You'll get a tracking number by email the moment your order leaves our warehouse. If you don't see it, check your spam folder before writing us — it happens.
Delivery times
United States (continental): 2-4 business days Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico: 4-7 business days Canada: 4-7 business days Anywhere else: Not yet. We're working on it. Drop your email on the homepage if you want to be told when international ships.
These are estimates from when your order leaves us, not from when you place it. Carrier delays happen — we don't control UPS, USPS, FedEx, or Canada Post, and we can't make them faster.
Free shipping
Free on every order. No minimum. We priced it into the products instead of pretending you're getting something for nothing.
Shipping insurance
You can add Shipping Insurance to your cart for $1.98 — it covers loss, theft, and damage in transit, no questions asked. We run this ourselves, so claims go to us directly (not a third-party app).
If you don't add insurance and your order is lost or stolen, we can usually still help, but we're at the mercy of the carrier's claim process, which is slow and often denies claims. Insurance gives us latitude to just fix it.
Customs and duties (Canada)
Canadian orders may be subject to GST/HST and import duties at the border. These are charged by Canada Customs, not by us — we have no way to prevent them or estimate them in advance. They're typically small (under $10 on most orders), but we can't guarantee that.
What if my order doesn't arrive?
Email us at support@drinkmood.com with your order number. If you have Shipping Insurance, we'll replace or refund right away. Without it, we'll start a carrier claim and keep you posted — these usually resolve in 7-14 days.
If the tracking shows "delivered" but you don't have it, check with neighbors and the building before writing us. About 80% of "missing" packages turn up within 48 hours of the delivery scan.
Wrong address?
If you typed your address wrong at checkout, write us within 30 minutes of placing the order and we'll fix it before it ships. After it ships, we can't reroute — you'll need to wait for the package to come back to us, then we'll resend to the corrected address.
